MEET VANESSA
A passion for horses. A heart for learning.
Owner & Director
Vanessa is the owner and director of Alkira Adina Equestrian and has been involved with horses from a young age. She has a Bachelor of Education and a strong interest in natural horsemanship, mindfulness and education.
Her work brings together education, horsemanship and connection to create meaningful learning experiences for children, young people and families.

Will has been around horses since he was a young teenager, growing up on a sheep and cattle station near Burra. Since then, he has continued developing his knowledge of natural horsemanship and riding across both English and Western disciplines, learning from instructors and working in riding schools across South Australia.
Throughout his journey as a horse trainer, riding instructor and rider, Will has developed a strong belief in honesty, trust and understanding when working with horses. These are the values he strives to share with his students through riding, horsemanship and horse handling.

MEET BRYLEE
Where education meets a love of animals.
Registered Teacher
Brylee holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and has a passion for numeracy, literacy and the arts. With a love for animals and her own chestnut horse, Niall, she brings her two passions together in her work with children.

She enjoys discovering new ways to guide children's learning through meaningful interactions with horses.

MEET CHARLOTTE
Where therapy meets the connection of the horse.
Occupational Therapist | EFOT Practitioner
Charlotte is an Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting clients of all ages to develop greater independence, confidence and quality of life. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Psychology and Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney and is an EFOT Practitioner.

With a lifelong passion for horses and horsemanship, Charlotte combines her clinical expertise with the therapeutic potential of the horse-human connection through Equine Facilitated Occupational Therapy (EFOT).
​
Her approach is client-centred, strength-based and grounded in evidence-informed practice. Charlotte supports individuals with areas including sensory processing, emotional regulation, gross and fine motor coordination, and self-confidence.

MEET IZZY
Where horses help children connect, grow and thrive.
Registered Early Childhood Teacher
Izzy is a Registered Early Childhood Teacher who grew up in Singapore before moving to Australia to complete her degree in Early Childhood Education and Disability Studies. Horses have been a constant throughout her life and have always had a grounding effect on her.

Izzy believes strongly in horses as a powerful aid in building empathy, kindness and confidence in individuals. She brings this belief into her work with children, creating opportunities for meaningful learning and connection through interactions with horses.
​
Outside of work, Izzy enjoys spending time with her pony, Rosie, and taking every opportunity to practise gratitude.
