Looking to build confidence in the saddle or try horse riding for the very first time?

Our 1.5-hour private school holiday riding sessions are thoughtfully tailored to suit each participant’s age, experience, and confidence level. These extended sessions give riders time to slow down, connect, and truly learn, making them ideal for both new and returning riders.

You’ll get to know our gentle, well-trained horses, learn about their unique personalities, and build essential skills both on the ground and in the saddle.

What’s Included

Every holiday session includes hands-on horse care, helping riders build confidence, responsibility, and connection before riding even begins.

Participants will:

• Groom and prepare their horse

• Learn safe handling and groundwork skills

• Explore lunging and horse communication

• Ride in a calm, supported environment

Riders can choose from:

• English riding

• Western riding

• Games on Horseback, blending fun challenges with skill-building and confidence

A Truly Unique Experience

Want something fun and a little different?

These sessions can also include interactive horse games that combine groundwork and riding. Riders might:

• Build trust through obstacle challenges

• Design and complete a mini course

• Practice throwing a lariat

• Apply groundwork skills in the saddle through guided games

This playful approach supports balance, coordination, problem-solving, and emotional regulation, all while having fun.

Private or Shared Options

• Private (1 participant): Fully tailored, one-on-one support

• Shared (2 participants):
  Two riders share one horse and one instructor, creating a calm, safe, and highly effective learning environment. This setup allows riders to take turns riding and observing, which deepens understanding, builds patience, and supports horse welfare. It’s an intentional, premium learning experience designed for safety and confidence.
