Saddle Up for School Holiday Fun at Alkira Adina Equestrian Looking for a school holiday experience that feels special, memorable, and a little magical? Welcome to Alkira Adina, where horse time becomes quality time. Our 1.5-hour private or semi-private holiday riding sessions are designed for one participant or a shared experience for two. Perfect for children, siblings, parents, or even grandparents, these sessions invite you to slow down, connect, and enjoy a hands-on adventure with our beautiful horses. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to suit age, experience, and confidence level, making it ideal for both first-time riders and those returning to the saddle. Choose your own experience, from English or Western riding to playful pony club style games or lasso throwing. Along the way, participants learn the foundations of horse care, handling, and communication, building real skills and confidence. What’s Included Every session begins on the ground, because connection comes first. Participants will: • Groom and prepare their horse • Learn safe handling and groundwork skills • Explore lunging and horse communication • Ride in a calm, supportive environment Riders can choose from: • English riding • Western riding • Games on Horseback, blending fun challenges with skill-building A Truly Unique Experience Sessions may include interactive horse games combining groundwork and riding. Riders might build trust through obstacle challenges, design and complete a mini course, practise throwing a lariat, or apply groundwork skills in the saddle. This playful approach supports balance, coordination, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. Private or Shared Options Private sessions offer fully tailored, one-on-one instruction. Shared sessions involve two riders, one horse, and one instructor. Riders take turns riding and observing, creating a calm, safe, and premium learning environment that supports patience and horse welfare. Session Details • Duration: 1.5 hours • Participants: 1–2 riders • Ages: New and experienced riders welcome • Availability: Tuesday to Friday during school holidays All sessions are run by experienced, qualified instructors and matched with quiet, reliable horses. Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Alkira Adina Equestrian. To ensure every session is safe, seamless, and enjoyable, please review these key points before attending. Full Terms and Conditions and our Service Agreement can be found under “Forms and Contact Us → Terms and Conditions / Service Agreement.” Cancellation & rescheduling: Private sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior or the session fee is forfeited; NDIS sessions at least 48 hours prior. Alkira Adina may cancel/ change a booking due to weather or horse welfare. This will be done via email or if it's on the day, an SMS. Term packages: Peak-time 5-lesson packages must be completed within 6 months from purchase, while off-peak 5-lesson packages are valid for 12 months; the same notice rules apply. Missed sessions without adequate notice are forfeited. School holiday clinics/events cancelled within 7 days are non-refundable. Alkira Adina Equestrian may cancel sessions due to weather or horse welfare; sessions will be rescheduled or credited as appropriate. Clothing & safety: All participants must wear enclosed shoes, long pants, and a comfortable top; hair tied back; no loose clothing or jewellery except medical bracelets. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Participants must follow staff instructions at all times. Unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the session with fees forfeited. Paperwork: All participants must complete a waiver. Service Agreement / Terms & Conditions must be read and accepted before attending any session, including NDIS-funded sessions. Payments & packages: Private sessions are paid at least 24 hours prior unless part of a package. Peak-time ongoing lessons are held subject to payment and communication; non-payment or lack of notice may result in the slot being released. NDIS-funded sessions follow NDIS rules. Additional essentials: Bring a water bottle; tap water is available. Respect the property, horses, and staff at all times. Our commitment: We provide high-quality, premium sessions. Feedback is valued and NDIS participants may access the formal complaints process. Legal: This Agreement is governed by South Australian law.
