Service Description
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Step into a world of discovery with our Holistic Horse Experience. Equine Assisted Learning sessions begin on the ground, allowing participants to build trust, confidence, body awareness, and a safe connection with the horse. After several sessions, and only following consultation with you and our team, sessions may progress into the saddle where appropriate. Each one-hour session is guided by an experienced mentor and supported by one of our gentle horses. Through engaging, hands-on activities, participants explore communication, emotional regulation, confidence, social skills, and self-awareness. Horses naturally reflect body language and energy, offering powerful insights into how participants move, connect, and respond to the world around them. Sessions are tailored to individual goals and needs and may support participants who are building confidence, navigating school or social challenges, developing leadership skills, or strengthening emotional awareness. Programs are suitable for children, teens, and young adults, with activities adapted to comfort level and experience. Personalised reports are available upon request. Program options include: Ground-based Equine Assisted Learning In-saddle Equine Assisted Learning (introduced only when appropriate) The award-winning Horses Helping Humans program Tailored mentorship programs with Will Fees & Funding Session length: 1 hour Hourly rate: $154 Programs are claimable through NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed or NDIA) (NDIA is Innovative Community Participation). A once-off administration and booking fee applies for new participants. This fee is paid privately and covers intake, initial planning, and program setup. No referral is required. Before the first session, participants complete a short intake form so we can understand goals, supports, and relevant needs. Every session is designed to be safe, purposeful, and engaging, supporting growth in confidence, independence, and connection at each participant’s own pace.
