EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING
A DIFFERENT WAY TO LEARN, CONNECT & GROW
We're inviting organisations to experience Equine Assisted Learning through a pilot program designed to create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, connect and grow.
Pilot opportunities available for selected organisations.
LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Learning Doesn't Always Happen in a Classroom
Equine Assisted Learning is a hands-on approach where participants learn through carefully guided experiences with horses.
Rather than simply learning about horses, participants are encouraged to notice, communicate, reflect and respond. The horse becomes part of the learning experience, creating opportunities to explore skills that can be carried beyond the arena.
“Before we can respond, we have to notice.”
More Than Time With Horses
Each experience creates opportunities to explore personal and social skills through observation, interaction and reflection.
CONFIDENCE
Building confidence through new experiences and achievable challenges.
COMMUNICATION
Exploring verbal and non-verbal communication.
SELF-AWARENESS
Noticing emotions, responses and personal strengths.
CONNECTION
Exploring trust, relationships and connection.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Learning to observe, think and respond.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Reflecting on experiences and recognising individual strengths.
Experience It First
We're offering organisations the opportunity to experience Equine Assisted Learning through a pilot program designed around the needs of their participants.
The pilot gives organisations an opportunity to see how participants respond, what they gain from the experience and whether an ongoing program could be valuable.
