Looking for a school holiday experience that feels special, memorable, and a little magical? Welcome to Alkira Adina, where horse time becomes quality time. Our 1.5-hour private or semi-private holiday riding sessions are designed for one participant or a shared experience for two.
 
Perfect for children, siblings, parents, or even grandparents, these sessions invite you to slow down, connect, and enjoy a hands-on adventure with our beautiful horses. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to suit age, experience, and confidence level, making it ideal for both first-time riders and those returning to the saddle.
 
Choose your own experience, from English or Western riding to playful pony club style games or lasso throwing. Along the way, participants learn the foundations of horse care, handling, and communication, building real skills and confidence. What’s Included Every session begins on the ground, because connection comes first.
 
Participants will:
• Groom and prepare their horse
• Learn safe handling and groundwork skills
• Explore lunging and horse communication

Sessions may include interactive horse games combining groundwork and riding. Riders might build trust through obstacle challenges, design and complete a mini course, practise throwing a lariat, or apply groundwork skills in the saddle. This playful approach supports balance, coordination, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
 
Private or Shared Options Private sessions offer fully tailored, one-on-one instruction. Shared sessions involve two riders, one horse, and one instructor. Riders take turns riding and observing, creating a calm, safe, and premium learning environment that supports patience and horse welfare.
