We currently have Eva available to lease or lease with potential option to buy. (on mobile scroll down for video)

Eva (Rochacheva) 18yo, Thoroughbred Mare, bay 16.1hh

Eva is a delight to handle in every way and has been handled and ridden by beginners. We believe she is a very safe horse and does not have any vices.

Eva is good to catch, float, hoof trim, worm and everything you would expect from a lovely safe schoolmaster.

Under saddle she is nothing fancy but safely walks, trots, canters and stops in the arena and on the trails. She is not spooky, is well desensitised to noisy traffic, loves swimming and gets along with other horses.

Eva would suit an individual or family to live with.

Eva is no longer suitable to be used within our facility as she is not coping well having unbalanced riders on her back and we do not currently have enough balanced riders for her to stay in the program with us. This causes a sore back. She still has ability to be ridden by a balanced rider. Eva is suitable for light work in the arena and for trail riding.

Eva has a health condition, EOTRH, which has been closely managed by us an the Horse Med vet team. It has not caused her issues but is something to be mindful of.

To be clear, we expect to manage Eva's ongoing dental care in direct relation to EOTRH while we own her.

Eva does require a decent amount of food, the same as expected for any thoroughbred. Her feet are surprisingly good and she is able to be barefoot. We currently put front Cavello boots on her in our arena (as we don't have sand yet).

She does well in a herd environment and is about the middle of the pecking order.

We are looking for an individual or family who would like to have Eva as part of their family/ life, preferably long term. We are happy to sell her to the right people or we are also happy to lease her out, knowing she is an older horse with health concerns and can come back to us in future so we can manage her older years.

A lease contract will be signed. She is not currently in work. Eva will come with a winter and summer rug.
